REGISTER OF TOURIST ESTABLISHMENT IN THE TERRITORY OF SOFIA CITY MUNICIPALITY

Under Article 60 of the Law on Tourism since 2005 a register is being kept of the tourist establishments, rated by the Mayor. Under Article 45 of the Law on Tourism, the persons engaged in hotel or restaurant business are entered in the register, along with data and circumstances under Article 61, Para 1 of registered the persons and establishments rated under Article 3, Para 3, Items 1, 2, 3 and 10.

Changes of circumstances (change of tenant/owner) are entered in the Tourist Register, under Article 56, Para 1 and 2.

One can obtain information on tourist establishments from the Travel Register at Sofia City Municipality, as follows:

• Number of the issued certificate of registration;
• Type, name and address of the tourist establishment;
• The assigned rating;
• Capacity of the tourist establishment;
• Validity term;
• Name, location and e-mail of the person carrying out tourist activities in the rated establishment.

In the Filing Report Department one can obtain information on his against the entry number and the date of the application.

The Register of Collective Accommodation Establishments and Supplementary Accommodations Department keeps latest information about the persons, who validate the Tourist Register under Article 49, Para 2 of the Law on Tourism.
