On November 7, 2011, in the ExCeL Exhibition Complex in London, Mr Ivo Marinov, Deputy Minister at the Ministry of Economy, Energy and Tourism and Dipl. Eng. Stoyan Lazarov, Director of Tourist Service Municipal Enterprise, attended the official opening of the stand of Russia and Moscow's stand, which was held at the WTM-2011 International Tourism Fair. The delegation of Sofia Municipality was welcomed by Mr Sergei Pavlovich Shpilko, Chairman of the Committee on Tourism and Hotels at the Government of Moscow and by Mr Alexander Davidov, Director General of Moscow Exhibition and Congress Agency at the Government of Moscow. The meeting was attended by Deputy Minister Ivo Marinov. The talks focused on the upcoming participation of both organizations in the Holiday and Spa Expo-2012 in Sofia and MITF-2012 in Moscow. Discussed was also the possibility of establishing a joint working group to promote the two destinations and construction of permanent on-line information services in the information centres of the two capitals.
