First International Piano Extravaganza Music Festival

In the days from 3rd to 9th October 2011 Sofia hosted the first international Piano Extravaganza Music Festival organized by Piano Extravaganza Foundation under the patronage of the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Bulgaria. The musical event was realized in cooperation with Sofia Municipality and America for Bulgaria Foundation. Connoisseurs of classical music enjoyed a remarkable programme of classical works of high artistic value. During the festival presented were rarely performed pieces whose notes are now kept in private collections. The ambition of Maestro Ludmil Angelov, founder and artistic director of Piano Extravaganza, has been the festival to establish itself as an annual musical event covering also a rich complimentary tourism programme to attract Bulgarian and foreign audience of connoisseurs of classical music in Sofia.
